Megan Rapinoe won the Ballon d’Or as soccer women’s player: She helped lead the USA to the World Cup title in July by beating Holland 2-0. A special prize for her, after scoring six goal at the tournament and earning the Golden Boot (top scorer) and the Golden Ball (top player). Rapinoe beat out Lucy Bronze (Olympique Lyonnais) and Alex Morgan (Orlando Pride).
